Nordic Fauna

A train stops dead at the tracks in the middle of the night. A woman, alone, steps out through the doors, following the calls from the deep woods.

That is what it’s like to read Andrea Lundgren. One is seduced by a note leading away, away to something one cannot even imagine.

The six short stories in Nordic Fauna is inhabited by animals: foxes, blue whales, pikes, cats, birds. And people, who are all longing for the transformation.
